Girl Panic!

Good morning everyone!

I have to share this: I usually dream about clothes (maybe because I never stop thinking, reading, looking at clothes)... And last night I had the most amazing dream! I dreamed that I was talking to Naomi Campbell, like she was my BFF- hahah. She was, of course, looking amazing. She was dressed exactly the same as she was on the Duran Duran video- Girl Panic!
The video is amazing. I think I had this dream because I watch this video almost every day...

HAVE A GOOD DAY!

Hervé Léger.

A few days ago I went to the Hervé Léger event in London, and it wasn't only good to see beautiful and stylish people around, but the fashion show was great too.
I have seen a few bloggers saying how tired they are of bandage dresses, but I have to admit that I just started loving them. I say loving, because I first tried a Hervé Léger a few months ago and I was in shock! The fabric, cut and lines give the body a  gorgeous touch! You feel beautiful, you feel powerful, you feel great! And let's not forget the colors and materials they have been using on the dresses too. For the Fall 2011 collection, I saw sequins and metals. For Pre- Spring 2012, I saw a lot of pink and citrus colors.

My point is, how can you get tired of a type of dress that makes you look beautiful and shows what you have best and every single collection brings something new without losing the "roots"? I just love it.
Every single woman that passes in front of these dresses, they stop, they look and they touch them. Once I heard someone saying:" I just want to touch and feel it. I saw a lot of these dresses on celebrities and they looked beautiful." Some of them, even if they won't buy it, they like to try them on and mos of the time fall in love.
I think the dresses are becoming more and more original and the Spring 2012 collection is my type:

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the lack of posts. This week has been crazy, but very good! Yesterday I went to the Herve Leger event in London and it was great! Tomorrow I start a new experience and I'm more than excited and happy!
The look that I'm posting today, is quite simple, but it is very me! Leather, silk, black and white... And my new trousers from Tag. I hope you like it.

British Fashion Awards 2011

I'm so happy for Victoria Beckham! What she has achieved is just incredible. Yesterday, at the British Fashion Awards, she won the Designer Brand of The Year! With Victoria Beckham in this category were Stella McCartney, Tom Ford and Burberry.
We all know how reserved Victoria Beckham is, but yesterday she couldn't contain her tears of happiness.
She was also looking beautiful ...

Stella McCartney was looking great too, I really like her suit and hair. She won the Red Carpet Designer of the Year.

Poppy Delevigne was looking beautiful- Simple hair, basic make up and a unique dress. AND NO ACCESSORIES AT ALL.

For possibly the first time, I didn't really like what Kate Moss wore. I love the coat, and I need one asap, she was looking beautiful, but I can't feel her dress. I don't like it.

I'm trying to think: Is there a skin tone that would go well with the colour of this dress? This is a very dangerous colour/fabric, but if you play with accessories and colours, you can make it look amazing. She looks too zzzz...

MyLook: Versace for H&M skirt.

And here is the love it (or hate it) skirt from Versace for H&M. As you might know, I'm not a big fan of colorful garments, but I really liked the skirt and decided to buy it and try and I love it but I have no idea when I will be wearing it again... Maybe next season.

Chic&Seek.

Chic&Seek is of of the most incredible things that I discovered in Notting Hill. Last week, at TelluFashion Launch Party, I had the chance to meet Tara, the founder of this amazing place.

Chic&Seek is the place to go if you are looking for second hand/ vintage clothing (you can buy and sell). The idea of Chic&Seek is to bring together beautiful pieces from the best designers in the world, at an affordable price, making them available to all.

When I went to visit the shop, it first felt like home! The place is beautiful, cozy, trendy and of course, has amazing accessories, shoes and clothes everywhere. However the best thing is that the treatment you will get is first class!

I also visited Chic&Seek to celebrate their 2nd birthday and it was great! I met a lot of beautiful girls, all very stylish, Kate Moss lookalikes, friendly and very welcoming. I absolutely loved it.

Visit Chic&Seek and enjoy the online shop. (The new website will be launched soon... I saw the layouts and it looks fantastic).

And they also have the most adorable dog around...

TELLUSFASHION LAUNCH PARTY

Yesterday I had the opportunity to go to the TellusFashion Launch Party. The event took part at Porchester Hall, a very cool venue around Notting Hill. The fashion show was great, with a lot of brilliant designers and dancers on the stage.
TellusFashion brings together young talented designers from around the world. On their website, you can shop, read about fashion news, get some inspiration from their editorials and get to know more about all the designers.
Olivia is part of the TellusFashion team, and I met her in Notting Hill. She is so nice and I was so happy to see how amazing the show was and how important it is for her. She really did a great job!
Below are the photos that I took of the show.
Just a quick note: When I was trying to find a place between the photographers, one of them said: Oh! I remember you! You were running in Waterloo station during London Fashion Week. hahah. I also remember that day, I was in a total rush and lost, maybe I asked him for directions to the venue.

FJABA was my favorite designer of the night. I loved the prints, fabrics and cuts. Their theme and music was lovely too. I went to the backstage to talk to them after the show and they were very nice!

VERSACE for H&M.

We have all been talking a lot about the Versace collection for H&M and the day has finally arrived.
I wasn't desperate about getting anything from the collection, even if I liked it, but yesterday on twitter, EVERYONE was talking about it and I started to get into the Versace vibe. I went to bed thinking that I woulnd't wake up at 2am to queue or any madness like that, but I was going to try at least, and I wanted to go to see how crazy it was.
